Should invest in GOLD or ICICI Pru Gilt-Invest-PF? – India?

I am in India.

I am planning to buy gold worth INR 25,000 on 1st Jan 2009. Is it a wise decision or investing in ICICI Pru Gilt-Invest-PF is wise??

Gold is the wisest choice my friend. think of it, in the end what is a paper bill gunna be worth? nothing Gold is gunna be worth more than anything.

Investing in ICICI pru gilt investment PF will be better option. You buy gold to give as gift to sombody loved ones.
